Positive: Perfect and beautiful location! You have a private entrace to the lake under the apartment, just bring swimming shoes to walk over the rocks. Having a washing machine was great and the beds were ..., Negative: would be nice to have fans when hot, and the shower head could not hang up. Walking to Varenna is possible, but there is a short stretch (100 m?) that you have to walk next to cars.
Positive: Apartment was awesome, even left us some fruit and drinks for when we arrived, view is spectacular, Negative: A little far away from city center so about a 15 min walk into "town
Positive: The view. The furnishing. The coolness, Negative: The steps inside and outside. You need to be fit and able bodied. No use for elderly. Lack of public transport. Taxi expensive. Car recommended.
Positive: Big living area. Nice kitchen. Friendly host., Negative: One of the main reasons we booked the apartment was because of the fact it had two bathrooms. The second bathroom was however unavailable. We were only informed of this on arriving at the flat.
