Positive: Great location - close to the ferry, restaurants, tourist attractions. Beautiful authentic apartment, we had a view from our window right onto the cannal. Comfortable, spacious and charming., Negative: Only small downside was the TV wasn’t working due to a storm that happened a month prior - owner was very honest that it takes a while for those things to be fixed in Venice.
Positive: Liked the host, Alvise. Very helpful, approachable, spoke excellent English. Loved the canal view by the little table in the bedroom. Bed was comfortable and bathroom large. Internet speed was great., Negative: The kitchen backsplash needs replacing. Everyday, and during the day, the limestone product produced a white chalky powder on the stove and counter.
